Christina Aguayo grew up on a farm, in the small town of Elizabeth, Colorado. Her parents, who have been married for over 30 years, instilled in her the importance of hard work, and raised her with a strong foundation, one that she could build her life upon. Growing up on a farm, Christina developed a love for animals, and it was then, that she began to see the world through a different set of eyes. She began to understand that EVERYONE and EVERYTHING has a heart, and has a story. In middle school, she began writing poetry and was published in numerous poetry books. From there, she became the Head Editor for her High School newspaper, and started writing about anything and everything she could get her hands on. Her love of writing started to intertwine with her love of Sports, and it was at that point, she decided to make a career of her two biggest loves. Her vision is to bring a fresh, new perspective to the sports world, to capture a grander audience, and to reveal to the world, that there is an inner athlete in all of us. Christina has an ability to build relationships with people, all the while aggressively pursuing each and every story she sets out to capture. Her goal is not only to become a successful Sports Anchor, but to inspire the Sports World on her journey to the top, one story at a time. |
