COAHOMA COUNTY AUTHORITIES CHARGE A SHELBY MAN WITH THE MURDER OF CLARKSDALE MAYORAL CANDIDATE, MARCO MCMILLIAN. LAWRENCE REED IS THE MAN WHO WAS DRIVING MCMILLIAN'S VEHICLE WHEN IT COLLIDED WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE TUESDAY MORNING. HE WAS AIRLIFTED TO THE HOSPITAL, AND AT SOME POINT, AUTHORITIES RECEIVED INFORMATION THAT MCMILLIAN MAY HAVE BEEN IN DANGER. AROUND 8-30 WEDNESDAY MORNING, DEPUTIES LOCATED MCMILLIAN'S BODY ABOUT TEN TO FIFTEEN MILES WEST OF CLARKSDALE. .  MCMILLIAN WAS A MAYORAL CANDIDATE IN THE TOWN OF CLARKSDALE. THE 34-YEAR-OLD'S BODY HAS BEEN SENT TO THE MISSISSIPPI CRIME LAB IN JACKSON FOR AN AUTOPSY TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF HIS DEATH.

THE VAIDEN POLICE CHIEF IS ARRESTED. GRENADA AUTHORITIES TELL ABC SIX ALLEN VANCE HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT OF CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT ARSON OF INSURED PROPERTY.  THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE EXECUTING THE ARREST WARRANT FOLLOWING AN M-B-I INVESTIGATION.  PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER JAMES CARVER SAYS VANCE TURNED HIMSELF INTO GRENADA AUTHORITIES TODAY AND IS OUT ON A 30-THOUSAND DOLLAR BOND.  BESIDES HIS CHIEF'S POSITION IN VAIDEN, VANCE ALSO WORKS AS AN OFFICER AT THE GRENADA POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Cleveland Police Accreditation
 AN IMPORTANT MILESTONE WAS REACHED TODY BY THE CLEVELAND POLICE DEPARTMENT. AFTER OVER A YEAR'S WORTH OF WORK AND PLANNING AND SUPPORT FROM THE CLEVELAND CITY COUNCIL, THE POLICE DEPARTMENT RECEIVED THE MUCH-COVETED CERTIFICATION FROM THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF STANDARDS AND TRAINING THROUGH THE COMMISSION ON ACCREDITATION FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES. THE DEPARTMENT HAD TO MEET OR EXCEED 123 STANDARDS TO MEET THE CERTIFICATION LEVEL. NOW THE CITY'S CERTIFICATION WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION IN CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA IN MARCH WHERE APPROVAL IS EXPECTED. CLEVELAND NOW JOINS ONLY 24 OTHER CITIES IN THE STATE OUT OF 250 POLICE DEPARTMENTS AND 82 SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENTS WITH THIS CERTIFICATION.

A YAZOO COUNTY INMATE IS STILL ON THE LOOSE. ERIC WILLIAMS, 24, ESCAPED FROM THE YAZOO COUNTY REGIONAL CORRECTIONAL FACILITY FRIDAY NIGHT. WILLIAMS IS A BLACK MALE, 5'11" WEIGHING ABOUT 170 POUNDS. INVESTIGATORS SAY WILLIAMS MAY BE ARMED AND HAS FAMILY MEMBERS IN SOUTHERN YAZOO COUNTY. YAZOO COUNTY SHERIFF JACOB SHERIFF SAID WILLIAMS CHANGED CLOTHES AT SOME POINT AND IT IS UNCLEAR WHAT HE MIGHT BE WEARING AT THIS POINT. INVESTIGATORS SAY WILLIAMS HAS ESCAPED FROM OFFICERS BEFORE BUT WAS QUICKLY APPREHENDED. WILLIAMS WAS JAILED ON GRAND LARCENY, FAILURE TO COMPLY AND FELONY ESCAPE CHARGES. AUTHORITIES ARE NOT SURE HOW WILLIAMS ESCAPED, BUT THE INCIDENT IS BEING INVESTIGATED. EARLY SATURDAY MORNING SHERIFF EXPLAINED THERE COULD HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE ESCAPED INMATES, BUT AN INVESTIGATION REVEALED WILLIAMS IS THE ONLY ESCAPEE. JOYCE PARKER, DIRECTOR OF CITIZENS FOR A BETTER GREENVILLE, TO BE RECOGNIZED TUESDAY FOR WORKING TO IMPROVE EDUCATION FOR BLACK STUDENTS. THE WHITE HOUSE SAYS PARKER AND THE OTHERS ARE BEING CELEBRATED AS CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE, PROVIDING EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP IN THE AREA OF EDUCATION IN THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY AT THE LOCAL, STATE, OR REGIONAL LEVEL. POLICE NAME A SUSPECT IN A WEEKEND SHOOTING THAT INJURED THREE PEOPLE AT A GREENVILLE NIGHT CLUB.POLICE ISSUING A WARRANT FOR 24-YEAR OLD KEON MISTER OF GREENVILLE. MISTER IS WANTED IN CONNECTION TO THE SATURDAY NIGHT SHOOTING AT SOUTHERN WHISPERS. POLICE ARE ASKING WITNESSES INSIDE THE CLUB THAT NIGHT TO COME FORWARD. AS A RESULT OF THE LATE NIGHT SHOOTING...DEXTER WELLS...KIMBERLY BATTLES AND LAEARL JONES WERE SHOT INSIDE THE CLUB. THEY WERE ALL TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND ARE LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION. POLICE SAYING THE SHOOTING MAY HAVE RESULTED FROM A FIGHT. KEON MISTER IS NOW WANTED FOR THREE COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. Gas Tax Proposal
A NEW PROPOSAL FOR BETTER ROADS AND HIGHWAYS COULD INCREASE MISSISSIPPI'S GAS TAX. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE CHAMBER AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF WASHINGTON COUNTY IS WORKING WITH LAWMAKERS TO FIND WAYS TO IMPROVE MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAYS. AT LAST WEEKS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING...CARY KARLSON...EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE CHAMBER AND EDC....SAID THE COMMITTEE HAS ISSUED A MOTION OF SUPPORT TO LAWMAKERS TO INCREASE THE GAS TAX THE MOTION IS IN SUPPORT OF OF CENTRAL DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION COMMISSIONER DICK HALL. THEY HOPE THE LEGISLATURE CONSIDERS INCREASING THE CURRENT GAS TAX SO THAT PROJECTS SUCH AS THE U.S. 82 BYPASS AND OTHER MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY PROJECTS CAN BE COMPLETED. SERGEANT MICHAEL MERCHANT SAYS 26-YEAR-OLD RONNIE THOMAS TURNED HIMSELF IN THIS AFTERNOON.  THOMAS WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE FEBRUARY 14TH SHOOTING OF TYKAN MCCULLUM.IN THE 400 BLOCK OF MCALLISTER STREET. POLICE SAY AROUND 2-O-CLOCK THAT MORNING THEY FOUND MCCULLUM SHOT--HE WAS SENT TO UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER IN JACKSON WHERE HE IS NOW LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION.

THE MISSISSIPPI COURT OF APPEALS AFFIRMS THE FIRING OF FORMER GREENVILLE POLICE CHIEF CHARLES PATTERSON. THE STATE APPELLATE COURT RULING IN A FIVE-FOUR DECISION  THE CITY VIA THE CITY COUNCIL WERE WITHIN THEIR RIGHTS TO DISCHARGE PATTERSON FOR MATTERS OF MALFEASANCE IN OFFICE. FURTHER THE MAJORITY FINDING THE CITY COUNCIL WERE THE EXTRA MEASURE IN ENSURING PATTERSON HAD HIS DAY IN COUNCIL TO REFUTE THE CHARGES, AND THAT THE CITY COUNCIL COULD HAVE FIRED PATTERSON AT WILL. THE WASHINGTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT HAD PREVIOUSLY RULED IN FAVOR OF THE CITY'S FIRING OF PATTERSON, WHO THEN APPEALED TO THE STATE APPELLATE COURT.

A 911 CALL COMING INTO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AROUND 8-20, WITH SEVERAL ENGINES RACING TO THE SCENE. BUT UNFORTUNATELY FIREFIGHTERS UNABLE TO SAVE A FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILD. A LAUDERDALE COUNTY GRAND JURY HANDED DOWN AN INDICTMENT AGAINST RICKY ROBERSON ON NUMEROUS CHARGES IN CONNECTION WITH ALLEGATIONS HE CONDUCTED AND HAD INAPPROPRIATE CONTACT WITH SEVERAL HIGH SCHOOL AGED GIRLS UNDER THE AGE OF 18.  THE FORMER CLARKDALE HIGH SCHOOL HEAD GIRLS SOFTBALL COACH WAS ARRESTED SEPTEMBER 27 LAST YEAR AND CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF LUSTFUL TOUCHING OF A MINOR WHILE IN THE POSITION OF AUTHORITY AND ONE COUNT OF STATUTORY RAPE.  ANOTHER AFFIDAVIT ALLEGES ROBERSON MADE INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS TO A NINTH GRADE STUDENT UP UNTIL AUGUST 12.  HE WAS TERMINATED FROM HIS JOB SHORTLY
AFTER HIS ARREST.

GREENVILLE POLICE SAY 24-YEAR OLD LEDARRIUS RICHARD IS WANTED FOR HIS ROLE IN A 2011 INCIDENT OCCURRING IN THE 300 BLOCK OF MUSCADINE.  POLICE SAY RICHARD AND JERRY JAMES--WHO WAS ARRESTED A WEEK AFTER THE ROBBERY--APPROACHED A PERSON AT GUNPOINT TAKING MONEY AND A CELL PHONE. RICHARD WHO HAS NOT BEEN LOCATED--IS BELIEVED TO HAVE FLED GREENVILLE AFTER CHARGES WERE FILED...POLICE ALSO CONFIRMING SIGHTINGS OF RICHARD IN THE AREA.

ANOTHER LATE NIGHT SHOOTING INCIDENT IN GREENVILLE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY POLICE. OFFICERS RESPONDING TO A SHOT PERSON IN THE 400 BLOCK OF MCALLISTER STREET. POLICE SAY AROUND 2-O-CLOCK LAST NIGHT THEY DISCOVERED A BLACK MALE WHO HAD BEEN SHOT--THE VICTIM WAS THEN TAKEN TO DELTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER AND WAS LATER TRANSFERRED TO UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER IN JACKSON. POLICE ARE NOT RELEASING THE NAME OF THE VICTIM AT THIS TIME PENDING THE INVESTIGATION. HARVEY PLEADING GUILTY LAST YEAR TO CONSPIRACY, IMPROPERLY ACCEPTING SOMETHING VALUED AT MORE THAN 5-THOUSAND DOLLARS AND EMBEZZLING U.S. PROPERTY WORTH MORE THAN A THOUSAND DOLLARS FACES UP TO  25 YEARS IN PRISON AND 750-THOUSAND DOLLARS IN FINES.  MEANWHILE, EDNA GOBLE, THE FOUNDER OF EDNA GOBLE'S TEACH THEM TO REACH PROGRAM IS SET TO GO ON TRIAL APRIL 15TH IN OXFORD BEFORE U.S. JUDGE MICHAEL MILLS.  THE SCHOOL SYSTEM PAID 1-POINT-4 MILLION TO GOBLE FOR HER PROGRAM, AND GOBLE IN TURNED PAID 36-THOUSAND DOLLARS ON FRANKLIN'S TRUCK LOAN, 9-400 ON HIS HOME IMPROVEMENTS AND NINETEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ON HIS AMERICAN EXPRESS BILL. SAMUEL MCVAY IS SCHEDULED TO HAVE A CHANGE OF PLEA HEARING IN OXFORD ON MARCH 27TH BEFORE U.S. DISTRICT JUDGE MICHAEL MILLS.  AS WE FIRST REPORTED, MCVAY'S ATTORNIES HAVE BEEN IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH FEDERAL PROSECUTORS ON FEDERAL CIVIL RIGHTS CHARGES.  MCVAY AND TWO OTHER OFFICERS KNOCKED DOWN, INJURED AND REMOVED 13-HUNDRED DOLLARS FROM A MAN'S WALLET ON MAY 3RD OF LAST YEAR.  FELLOW FORMER OFFICERS CEDRIC SORRELL AND BRYANT KENNEDY ALREADY PLEADING GUILTY IN THE CASE.

CAPTAIN ROBBIE LINLEY SAYS A BLACK MALE WAS SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES SUNDAY NIGHT AS HE WAS GETTING OUT OF HIS VEHICLE IN THE 300 BLOCK OF MONROE STREET.  LINLEY SAYS THE VICTIM IS IN CRITICAL BUT STABLE CONDITION AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL FOR INJURIES TO HIS LOWER BACK.  THEN LAST NIGHT, ANOTHER BLACK MALE WAS SHOT AT WHILE HE WAS TRAVELING IN THE 700 BLOCK OF LEFLORE STREET IN HIS VEHICLE BY A BLACK FEMALE SUBJECT.  THE BULLET STRIKING THE VEHICLE ONE TIME BUT THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

Charleston Fire Fatal
A FATAL HOUSE FIRE IN THE CITY OF CHARLESTON CLAIMS TWO LIVES. THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL TELLS ABC 6 THE BLAZE HAPPENED OVER THE WEEKEND AT 309 LOLLIE STREET, JUST A BLOCK AWAY FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL. THE HOME OCCUPIED BY FIVE FAMILY MEMBERS, AND THE 64 YEAR-OLD GRANDMOTHER AND 16 YEAR-OLD BOY DIED FROM SMOKE INHALATION. AND AUTHORITIES SAY THE 16 YEAR-OLD WAS TRYING TO RESCUE HIS GRANDMOTHER.

LARRY DONNELL WILKINS DIES AFTER COLLIDING WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE ON HORSESHOE BAYOU ROAD SUNDAY AFTERNOON.  WASHINGTON COUNTY ASSISTANT CHIEF DEPUTY BILLY BARBER SAYS THE OTHER DRIVER, KAH-DEE-JAH WELLS OF METCALFE, SUSTAINED INJURIES BUT HER CONDITION IS UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME. THE ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.

AUTHORITIES HOPE AN AUTOPSY WILL SHED LIGHT ON WHY AND HOW A MAN DIED. WASHINGTON COUNTY CORONER METHEL JOHNSON SAYS 29-YEAR-OLD JUAN GARDENO DIED AT DELTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER SHORTLY AFTER 8:00 SUNDAY NIGHT. JOHNSON SAYS GARDENO TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER TAKING ILL AT A LELAND HOTEL. GARDENO WAS DOING SOME FORESTRY WORK FOR AN ARKANSAS BASED COMPANY AT THE TIME OF HIS DEATH.

IN HOLLANDALE, THE CITY IS WINDING DOWN IT'S AMNESTY PERIOD. Sardis Woman
A Sardis woman has been sentenced to serve 10 years in prison for stealing $277,000 from her employer. Prosecutors say Samantha Johnson was working for a Batesville lawyer and used the law firm account to pay off the mortgage on her mother's mobile home; buy her sister a mobile home; purchase an automobile for her daughter; and take vacation trips,
including one to Walt Disney World. Last October, Brown sentenced to 10 years for composing a fictitious chancery court divorce document. Prosecutors say she forged signatures on the document, including a deputy clerk's signature, and presented the document to a client claiming the document had been approved and filed. Prosecutors say the sentence in the embezzlement case will run concurrently with the forgery sentence.

EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICES AT DELTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WILL BE CHANGING AS ANNOUNCED TODAY BY HOSPITAL OFFICIALS. PRIVATELY-OWNED MED-STAT WILL NOW TAKE OVER FOR THE GREENVILLE REGIONAL HOSPITAL. HOWEVER MED STAT CEO BARRY ESKRIDGE SAYS ALTHOUGH THE MEDICAL CENTER IS OUTSOURCING ITS SERVICE, DELTA REGIONAL WILL STILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THE SERVICE THROUGHOUT WASHINGTON COUNTY. THE CHANGE OVER SIMPLY MEANS BETTER RESPONSE TIME AND MORE EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF AMBULANCE PERSONNEL. ANDREASE RAYMOND AND IESHAE TALIFERRO, BOTH OF MOORHEAD, AND KENT HAWKINS JUNIOR OF SUNFLOWER SIT INSIDE THE SUNFLOWER COUNTY JAIL ON VARIOUS CHARGES RELATED TO THE DEATH OF 32 YEAR OLD ANDREW STEWART. RAYMOND CHARGED WITH MURDER AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER ,TALIFERRO FOR CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER, AND HAWKINS MURDER AND THREE COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. SUNFLOWER COUNTY SHERIFF JAMES HAYWOOD SAYS ANDREW STEWART SHOT ONCE IN THE HEAD ON THE DANCE FLOOR AT THE HAWK AWAY CLUB EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.  A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION SHOWS THE SHOOTING TO BE GANG RELATED, THOUGH THE SHERIFF NOT SAYING MUCH MORE EXCEPT MORE ARRESTS ARE PENDING AS THE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.

A WASHINGTON COUNTY JURY CONVICTS A MAN ON ARMED ROBBERY AND CONSPIRACYCHARGES. BRANDON GALES FOUND GUILTY IN THE DECEMBER 20-11 ARMED ROBBERY OF THE HYATT FOOD MARKET ON NORTH BROADWAY.  PROSECUTORS SAY GALES HELD UP THE STORE OWNER BEFORE FLEEING WITH SOME MARKED MONEY. AND FOURTH CIRCUIT COURT DISTRICT ATTORNEY DEWAYNE RICHARDSON HAPPY WITH THE JURY'S  VERDICT.

DRMC EMERGENCY DOCTOR
THE STATE MEDICAL BOARD REVOKES THE LICENSE OF DELTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER'S EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTOR. THE ACTION TAKEN JANUARY 24TH AGAINST DOCTOR ROBERT S. CORKERN STEMMING FROM A FELONY CONVICTION OF A CRIME OF MORAL TURPITUDE IN A CASE INVOLVING A HOSPITAL IN BATESVILLE. CORKERN PLEADING GUILTY LAST YEAR TO BRIBING THEN PANOLA COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR DAVID CHANDLER WITH 25-THOUSAND DOLLARS. CORKERN AVOIDED TRIAL IN TAKING THE PLEA DEAL.

Humphrey Co. Drowning
A HUMPHREYS COUNTY MAN DROWNS AFTER REPORTEDLY DRIVING HIS VEHICLE INTO WOLF LAKE. HUMPHREYS COUNTY INVESTIGATORS RECEIVING THE CALL AROUND 5-20 P.M. OF A VEHICLE IN WOLF LAKE SOUTH OF BELZONI ON THE HUMPHREYS-YAZOO COUNTY LINE .  SHERIFF DEPUTIES, EMERGENCY RESPONDERS, ALONG WITH THE YAZOO COUNTY DIVE TEAM, RACING TO THE LAKE IN HOPES OF SAVING THE VICTIM, WHO INVESTIGATORS LATER IDENTIFIED AS A 46-YEAR-OLD WHITE MALE.  AROUND 8-30 TONIGHT, SHERIFF J-D ROSEMAN CONFIRMS RECOVERING THE MAN'S BODY AND LATER PULLING THE VEHICLE FROM THE LAKE WITH THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE DROWNING JUST BEGINNING.

Phelps Court Appearance
A COURT APPEARANCE TODAY FOR AN ANGUILLA MAN INDICTED IN A FATAL D-U-I. HENRY VICK PHELPS CHARGED WITH DUI RESULTING IN DEATH IN A FATAL WRECK LAST FEBRUARY IN GREENVILLE, CLAIMING THE LIFE OF PASSENGER CANDACE MARIE PAGE ON THE NIGHT SHE WAS CELEBRATING HER 27TH BIRTHDAY. PHELPS PLEADING NOT GUILTY TO THE CHARGE IN COURT THIS MORNING, AND HIS BOND SENT BY JUDGE ASHLEY HINDS AT 100-HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS AFTER PAGE'S MOTHER ASKED THE COURT FOR A HIGH BOND.

CLARKSDALE MURDER
A DEATH INVESTIGATION IS UNDERWAY AFTER A CLARKSDALE MAN DIES IN POLICE CUSTODY. POLICE ARRESTING GEORGE WALKER ON FOUR OUTSTANDING WARRANTS FRIDAY, BUT WHILE IN CUSTODY AND BEING TRANSPORTED TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, CAPTAIN ROBBIE LINLEY SAYS THE 32 YEAR OLD SUFFERED A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.  WALKER DIED DESPITE MEDICAL ATTENTION.  A PRELIMINARY CAUSE OF DEATH FROM THE STATE MEDICAL EXAMINER'S OFFICE IS PENDING TOXICOLOGY.  AND SINCE WALKER DIED WHILE IN POLICE CUSTODY, THE MISSISSIPPI BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIONS IS CONDUCTING THE DEATH INVESTIGATION.

STATE REPRESENTATIVE DIES
MISSISSIPPI HOUSE OFFICIALS SAY STATE REPRESENTATIVE JOE GARDNER OF BATESVILLE PASSES AWAY MONDAY. GARDNER, A DEMOCRAT, HAD SERVED IN THE 122-MEMBER HOUSE SINCE 2007 AND WAS CHAIRMAN THE HOUSE ETHICS COMMITTEE. HE REPRESENTED DISTRICT 11, WHICH INCLUDED PARTS OF PANOLA AND TATE COUNTIES. GARDNER WAS A VIETNAM VETERAN AND WAS CHAPLAIN AT TRI-LAKES MEDICAL CENTER IN BATESVILLE.   HE WAS 68. HOUSE SPEAKER PHILIP GUNN SAYS HE WAS SHOCKED AND SADDENED BY GARDNER'S DEATH. REPUBLICAN GUNN SAYS GARDNER "WAS A FINE MAN WHO WAS WELL-LIKED BY EVERYONE." GARDNER IS THE SECOND HOUSE MEMBER TO DIE IN THE PAST MONTH. DEMOCRATIC REP. DAVID GIBBS OF WEST POINT DIED JAN. 13. TWO DEMOCRATIC STATE SENATORS, BENNIE TURNER OF WEST POINT AND ALICE HARDEN OF JACKSON, DIED IN LATE 2012.

IT APPEARS THAT GAS PRICES ARE OINCE AGAIN ON THE RISE. ACCORDING TO AAA THE NATIONAL AVERAGE FOR A REGULAR GALLON OF GAS IS 3 DOLLARS AND 46 CENTS. WE FOUND PRICES HERE IN THE DELTA CLIMBING ALMOST 30 CENTS HIGHER THAN THIS TIME A MONTH AGO. PRICES OFF OF HWY 1 IN GREENVILLE WERE AT 3 DOLLARS AND 39 CENTS...WHILE THE DOUBLE QUICK ON 82 AVERAGED AROUND 3 DOLLARS AND 27 CENTS. THE SPIKE HAS BEEN BLAMMED ON CRUSDE OIL PRICES...WHICH HAVE RISEN MORE THAN 4 PERCENT AND ARE APPROACHING 100 DOLLARS A BARREL. COUNT INDICTMENT FOR BOTH WOMEN STEMS FROM THE AUGUST 2011 RUNOFF
ELECTIONS. THE INDICTMENT STATES BRENDA WIGGS WAS IN CHARGE OF ABSENTEE
BALLOT PROCEDURES IN THE COUNTY AND IN THE COURSE OF PREPARING FOR THE
RUNOFF ELECTIONS, WIGGS ON OR ABOUT AUGUST 3RD AND AUGUST 23RD PERMITTED
BOBBIE BUGGS TO SERVE AS AN ATTESTING WITNESS FOR SIGNATURES ON ABSENTEE
ABALLOTS IN THE OFFICE OF THE QUITMAN COUNTY CIRCUIT CLERK.  AT THAT TIME,
