Neeha Kandikatla joined the Deltas' Number One News Team in September as a General Assignment News Reporter. She holds a Bachelors degree in English and Philosophy from the College of New Jersey, and a Masters in Broadcast Journalism from The Newhouse School at Syracuse University. She's been in Broadcast News since 2004 at NBC News, MSNBC, NBC Olympics, and Dateline. After her time in New York she moved to Washington D.C to work for USA Today Live. Greenville was the next big city on her list. She now calls the Mississippi Delta home. She believes that news is a team sport, and is truly grateful to have a fantastic production and news team, nothing would be possible without all the talented people behind the scenes.
Neeha would like to thank everyone who has been so supportive of her dreams, her professors, her colleagues past and present, her aunts and uncles, her Syracuse family, and her Manhattan family, but especially her mom, dad, brother, and grandmother. When she's not at work, Neeha's spends her time with her most supportive and biggest fan and their chihuahua Duke. She also wants to extend a huge thank you to everyone in the Delta who's made her feel at home.
